Eclipse North Korea Predictions

The solar eclipse across the USA will BE"H take place on Erev Rosh Hodesh Elul, 5777.

BIN first noted this (from Rav Berger Shlit"a), followed by Sod1820 that the book Yalkut Moshe, written by R' Moshe ben Yisrael Binyamin in 5654 notes the following:

... and if the sun will be eclipsed in Elul, [there will be] damage to the kings of the east and animals will die and a stormy wind will come.

Based on this, Rav Berger believes (according to these articles) that the "kings of the east" refers to Kim Jong Un if he continues to taunt President Trump.

At first glance, one problem with this might be that the eclipse is technically still in the month of Av.  And even if the end of the eclipse in America will be Rosh Hodesh in Israel, it is still the first day of Rosh Hodesh and still Av.

However, one could say that it refers to the Molad of Elul, which a solar eclipse, by definition, is a Molad in that particular area (even though our Molad times go according to Yerushalayim time).

If one still insists on the eclipse being in Av, the sefer notes:

... and if the sun will be eclipsed in Av, there will be disorder and quarrels.
