Despite the Odds, Trump is Triumphant

The new TV hit reality show series, carried on all the networks, called "The Presidency" has a new winner, and his name is Donald Trump.

The Huffington Post gave Hillary a 98% chance of winning the Presidency.  They, along with a whole bunch of other "experts", have orange-colored sunny-side-up egg on their faces this morning as Donald Trump will become the 45th President of the United States.

Of course, 45 is the gematria of גאולה, whereas 44 is the gematria of גולה (exile) and דם (blood).  Think of who is our 44th President.

Also, I was one of the first to point out that דונלד טראמפ is the gematria of משיח בן דוד - meaning that the era of Donald Trump will G-d-willing be the era of Mashiah ben David.

was not always a fan of The Donald, and really wanted Ted Cruz to win.  He was, and still is, the far superior candidate.  However, for a whole list of reasons too long to describe, I supported Trump's candidacy the moment he became the nominee.

Of course, there were reasons not to vote for him.  He has negatives.  I recently told someone that Donald has about 10 negatives whereas Hillary has about 250 negatives, so it's a no-brainer whom I would vote for.  I also noted that regarding character, it's a wash - they're both מושחתים.  What's left?  Policy.  And I agree with Trump's policy 1000 times more than I do Hillary's.

Take Israel, for example - an issue that is eminently important to me.  Trump has great advisers on Israel and even promised to move the US Embassy to Yerushalayim.  It wouldn't enter Hillary's mind to do that.  Besides for her support for the Iran deal, her constant howling about settlements when she was Secretary of State, her Suha kiss, etc.  Again, a no-brainer.

And here is a partial list of great rabbis who supported Trump:

Rav Elya Ber Wachtfogel Shlit"a
Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky Shlit"a and Rav Gershon Edelstein Shlit"a
American Roshei Yeshiva
Rav Moshe Shternbuch Shlit"a
Rav Avrohom Chaim Levin Shlit"a

May Donald Trump be the first President to be an אוהב ישראל and help bring us toward our goal of bringing about the Final Redemption, Amen.

In Revi'i of Lech Lecha, it says (Bereishit 14:7):

The word העמלקי (the Amalekites), which was smitten, has the same gematria (255) as each of Hillary's names:
הילרי = 255
רודהם = 255
קלינטון = 255

The 255 gematria also matches the phrase A Time of Terrible Distress

One thing I happened to think about is whether Trump could be convinced to lift the restrictions on Pollard, And investigate the atrocity committed against Rubashkin. If anything, he SHOULD be pardoned.

May Hashem inspire President Trump to commute Pollard's parole and pardon Shalom Rubashkin or at least commute his sentence.

I believe that we have all witnessed a miracle here. It was of course a miracle by natural means, yet still a miracle.

In the sites where I had seen his name spelled, I did not see the alef in דונלד - nor is it common to use his middle name. Now, I wouldn't fault you if you wanted to use a gematria with the spelling that you used, but the spelling I used should be considered the עיקר spelling.
