Who is "yaak"? I'm a half-Sepharadi, half-Ashkenazi, Haredi Zionist. I hope that clears it all up. :-) I went to a Haredi elementary school, a mixed Haredi/modern high school, Haredi Yeshiva in Israel, and back to a mixed Yeshiva after that. Rav Wallerstein has a heter to stay in America from Rav Kanievsky because of "what he is doing there". How many other Jews in America can say that? Wow. Wow.
The last 7 steps of the 49 steps of purity can only be done in Eretz Yisrael since there were only 42 camps in the 40 yrs. in the desert including the origination pt. of Ramses, outside of Eretz Yisrael. Yom Yerushalayim, NOT SO COINCIDENTALLY, is the 43rd day of Sefirat HaOmer. What does one learn from that?

How can a 15 year old former chiloni have visions?
Simple Yoel 3:1: א וְהָיָה אַחֲרֵי-כֵן, אֶשְׁפּוֹךְ אֶת-רוּחִי עַל-כָּל-בָּשָׂר, וְנִבְּאוּ, בְּנֵיכֶם וּבְנוֹתֵיכֶם; זִקְנֵיכֶם, חֲלֹמוֹת יַחֲלֹמוּן--בַּחוּרֵיכֶם, חֶזְיֹנוֹת יִרְאוּ. 1 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men (bachurim) shall see visions;
A 15 year old bachur has a vision for over 1 1/2 hours, and we should be surprised??
O My L-rd, and what is the next thought in Yoel the Navi? after HaShem pours out His Spirit on slaves too in verse 2?
ג וְנָתַתִּי, מוֹפְתִים, בַּשָּׁמַיִם, וּבָאָרֶץ: דָּם וָאֵשׁ, וְתִימְרוֹת עָשָׁן. 3 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and date palms of smoke.
ד הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ יֵהָפֵךְ לְחֹשֶׁךְ, וְהַיָּרֵחַ לְדָם--לִפְנֵי, בּוֹא יוֹם יְהוָה, הַגָּדוֹל, וְהַנּוֹרָא. 4 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
The 15 year old kid said that his near death experience, his vision, was during the first evening of Sukkot. At 5 that morning in Eretz Yisrael was the last blood moon of the tetrad.
